Post Graduate Degree Courses at ESI PGIMSR, New Delhi

The institute is running Postgraduate courses with annual intake as mentioned against each subject as per details below :

  • 50% seats are filled from All India and 50% from the State quota.

Fee Structure for the P.G Degree Courses

The fee structure approved by ESI Corporation is based on the lines of Central Government Medical Institutions with a view to attract the best talent.

Fee to be charged on annual basis is as follows–

The above fee structure will be reviewed from time to time and is subject to the following conditions -

  • A bond of Rs. 25,00,000/- (Rupees Twenty five lacs) for MD/MS (postgraduate course) and Rs. 40,00,000/- (Rupees Forty lacs) for DM (Superspeciality course) to serve the scheme after completion of postgraduationat least for a period of 3(Three) years(after MD/MS) and for 4 years (after DM courses) will be executed by each student at the time of admission. The cost of the entire bond will be recovered if one ceases to be in corporation service before completion of Bond period.
  • If a candidate is admitted beyond requirement of the scheme a separate fee structure will be applicable / determined keeping in view the total cost involved for the medical education. This is to ensure that medical education on the same lines as in Govt. Medical Colleges is available only to those who shall serve the scheme on completion of their studies. Separate fee structure for this purpose will be advised at a later date.

Bond conditions & Format of Bond :

Students taking admission in ESI-Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences & Research, Basaidarapur, New Delhi has to sign a bond for serving Employees' State Insurance Corporation as applicable for MD/MS/DM after completion of Postgraduation. A copy of bond format is attached.

Guidelines to fill the bond

1. The under mentioned bond as per format attached is required to be prepared on Non-Judicial Stamp Paper of Rs. 100/- and duly attested from Notary Public/First Class Magistrate from Delhi region only

2. Instructions to be followed for preparing the BOND:

  • Bounden – student seeking admission in the institute has to sign as bounden on both pages. Self-attested copy of Aadhar Card is required to be attached as ID Proof.
  • Surety – should NOT be in blood relation (Father, Mother, Brother or Sister) of the student. The surety should sign at designated places on both pages of the bond and provide copy of his/her Income Tax Return for the last financial year alongwith self-attested copy of his residential address, PAN Card &Aadhar Card.
  • Witness – Witness has to sign at second column on both pages of the affidavit. The person should NOT be in blood relation (Father, Mother, Brother or Sister) of the student. Self-attested copy of Aadhar Card is mandatory for witness.

Pay structure (Stipend)

As per the guidelines of the MCI, the PG students (Degree/Diploma) are to be designated as Junior Residents (teaching) and DM candidates to be designated as Senior Residents (Teaching). They will be paid as per Residency Scheme of Central Govt. which has been adopted by the ESIC.
